#254-002 – 5-String

This is only the 2nd banjola ever made. Built in Dec. 1996, it has a slightly smaller body than the current model (12″ vs. 13 1/2″ wide) but with same scale length neck. American black walnut back and sides, Sitka spruce top, fiddleback maple neck and binding, 2 fossil ivory inlays in rosette, bone inlays on East Indian rosewood fingerboard, Kingwood peghead veneer and bridge.
